Impact Partnership Development Manager at the University of Exeter, UK Alex has spent over 18 years working at the interface of science, innovation, research, business, society within the context of environment, sustainability and land-use planning. He has a wide range of experience working for a number of regional, local and international organisations in both the private and public sector, has been director for several successful companies and has a proven track record in bid writing and fund raising. He has good networks and links across the environment sector, regionally and internationally. Alex has also worked as a core team member of a number of specific research and impact projects, notably Professor Katrina Brown’s prestigious AXA Outlook Project 'You Me and Our Resilience: Cross cultural insight into poverty, climate change and resilience,' of which S.A.F.E Kenya were a key partner and collaborator. Alex has a keen interest in greenwood working, managing his smallholding in Cornwall, craft and sustainability. He’s a parish councillor and is hugely excited about the power of art and science to come together to support positive change.
