Films

With access to the internet and television becoming commonplace and extremely popular across Kenya, television and film are becoming an increasingly effective medium to engage with people.

Ndoto Za Elibidi – Dreams of Elibidi (2011)

Ni Sisi (2013)

Watatu (2015)

Who am I? (2017)

SAFE Samburu Short Film Series

This point has been proven by the success of S.A.F.E.’s films which have become hugely popular in the country, and have launched the careers of some of Kenya’s best acting talent.

S.A.F.E. employs young talented actors from the communities the films are set. These young actors uniquely understand the people and cultures they are depicting and share a passion for social change.

Following the release of the films, distribution is done with target communities, which includes large scale public screenings, mass DVD distribution, and follow up workshops.
