S.A.F.E.’s award winning films address taboo and difficult topics in an engaging and powerful format. Each film was co-created with the communities that they are about, and are used by S.A.F.E. and our partners to inspire dialogue and social impact. All of S.A.F.E.’s films are available, please contact us if you would like to use them in your programmes.
This point has been proven by the success of S.A.F.E.’s films which have become hugely popular in the country, and have launched the careers of some of Kenya’s best acting talent.
S.A.F.E. employs young talented actors from the communities the films are set. These young actors uniquely understand the people and cultures they are depicting and share a passion for social change.
Following the release of the films, distribution is done with target communities, which includes large scale public screenings, mass DVD distribution, and follow up workshops.
